If you are an avid social media user, you may be familiar with the names Anjali Chakra and Sufi Malik. Social media influencers from Pakistan and India decided to part ways weeks before their wedding.
Chakra and Malik announced on their respective Instagram handles that they had broken up due to “infidelity by a Sufi.” In a lengthy post, Malik revealed that he had been cheating on her with Chakra weeks before her wedding. “I cheated on her a few weeks before the wedding and made the invisible mistake of betrayal. I hurt her more than I could ever understand. We recognize this and will continue to do so.”
Chakra also wrote a note to update her followers about her personal life. She writes: “This may come as a shock, but our journey is now changing. We have decided to call off her wedding and end our relationship due to Sufi's infidelity.”

In 2019, two US-based influencers gained widespread popularity on the internet after sharing videos and photos of them dancing in the rain wearing traditional South Asian costumes. Chakra, who is from India, and Malik, who is from Pakistan, have been dating for over five years. The pair announced their engagement in a heartfelt proposal video shot at New York's iconic Empire State Building, where Malik got down on one knee and proposed to Chakra.
To celebrate their three-month engagement, Chakra shared a series of photos on Instagram and wrote a note. “After 3 months of being engaged, we've finally started making all the calls to choose vendors for our wedding. If you have any vendors you really like tagged in the comments, I'd love to check them out!!”
The former couple also runs a YouTube channel 'Sufi and Anjali', which has over 1.36 million subscribers.
