White & Case has hired Anthony Tama as financial partner from the London-based US law firm Cahill, Gordon & Reindel.
Tama, a high-yield finance specialist, has been a partner at New York financial firm Cahill since 2011, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He was elected to the White & Case partnership on a Jan. 22 vote, according to people familiar with the matter.
His hire follows that of Patrick Saatchi, co-head of M&A at Hogan Lovells UK. financial news It is reported that he joined the company last month.

White & Case is replenishing its high-yield finance ranks in London following the departure of Jill Tierrink to join Weil, Gotshal & Manges in January 2023. In the same month, the firm lost its debt finance partners Fergus Wheeler and Paul Yin to Mr Akin, who have since taken over. Back to Latham & Watkins.
Tama represents banks and corporations in high-yield debt financing transactions, according to his profile on Cahill's website.
The firm's other new hire, Saatchi, was a partner at Whyte & Case in London before moving to Hogan Lovells in 2021.
Last year, White & Case elected Heather McDevitt as its first female chairman. The New York litigation partner secured the role by defeating global M&A head John Rees in a partner vote.
Mr. McDevitt assumed the position on September 1 for a four-year term, replacing Hugh Verrier, who had led the company since 2007.
