Residents of Pune's Keshavnagar and Kaladhi were shocked to witness an unusual phenomenon called a 'mosquito tornado' swirling over the Muta river.
In a video shared on Instagram, dense clouds of mosquitoes can be seen swirling near the riverbank, creating a surreal scene. Mosquito tornadoes are not uncommon in certain areas during certain seasons, but they rarely occur in urban areas such as: pune.
Various reports suggest that recent weather conditions are creating an ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes.
