The Department of Financial Management invites university employees to the “Making Your Day Work Carnival” scheduled for March 28th. This unique event not only showcases the various departments on campus that strive to improve the overall employee experience, but also helps raise awareness. Employees exchange opinions about the diverse and excellent services provided by the university, which are often overlooked in the busyness of daily life.
This event provides an opportunity for staff and faculty to connect directly with units that have previously only interacted virtually or by phone. The highlight will be a “Family Feud''-style game show with Prime Minister Robinson. The winner will receive lunch from their department. Attendees can go to the registration table upon arrival to receive their wristbands and tickets, and pick up items at each booth. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Department Spotlight: UAPD
The University Police Department is a certified law enforcement agency dedicated to serving and protecting the future of Arkansas. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to support faculty, students, and staff in our campus community. These are important campus resources that work to keep the university safe even when campus is empty.
Aside from what you would expect from a law enforcement agency, UAPD also offers free vehicle unlocks and vehicle jumps. They perform security services for other U of A System campuses such as UAMS and the College of Agriculture.
UAPD's booth will feature a demonstration of the SafeZone Mobile Safety app. In case of an emergency, users can use the app to instantly share their location and details and receive immediate assistance. UAPD K-9 will also be participating!
