Just like humans, pets can suddenly become ill. This can happen when you can't take your dog to the vet (for example, when the office is closed) or when you're traveling. Veterinarian Adam Christman shared a video on his April 3rd showcasing some of his care kits that can be purchased at Target. These kits are a savior for some common dog problems.
My Simple Pet Lab has care kits for ear infections and diarrhea, two diseases that most dogs get at some point, and you can find them at Target. Both kits are a quick way to start relieving your pet's pain while they wait for a visit to the veterinarian, and both are inexpensive to purchase. Listen as the documentation explains each kit in detail.
I'm going to run Target to buy these just in case. The great thing about these kits is that you can register your products and stay up to date on the care your veterinarian is providing. It also includes the following steps, so if you are a new pet parent or have never dealt with any of these issues before, what to do to provide your puppy with the care he needs. You will gain knowledge about what you should do.

Dr. Christman's commenters were excited about this kit. @Tess said, “Such a great kit!!! I'm thinking of buying some for emergencies!” @Penny said, “This is great. They need first aid kits too.” The doctor said yes. However, there is no need to buy expensive first aid kits. You can make it yourself.
In fact, it was Dr. Christman who shared a video of him assembling a first aid kit using supplies from Dollar Tree. Everything cost him only $15. He shared all the basics we would need, including containers to put everything in, plastic bags to put each item in, medical records, and anything else that could get wet in bad weather. From tick tweezers to extra collars and leashes just in case, you can get it all at Dollar Tree. Cards with common first aid measures may be helpful. Also, don't forget to include a bottle or two of water in him, as one commenter suggested. If you take your dog with you everywhere, it may be worth making two kits for him, one for the car and one for the home.
If DIY isn't your thing, there are a variety of pet first aid kits available online that come with everything you need (although they can be pricey). Whatever you buy, do it now and have it on hand. It could be the difference between life and death for your fur baby.
