CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Pet owners had the opportunity to have professional photos taken with their furry friends at Busch Pet Products on Valentine's Day.
“You get professionally finished, high-quality digital images that you can keep forever,” says Stacy Busch-Heisserer, owner of Busch Pet Products.
She believes that many pet owners have a special bond with their pets and believes it is important to create lasting memories with them.
“Their pets are their children. Their pets are furry family members. So for them, having a professional portrait drawn is a great way to remember their pet for years to come.” It can be done,” Busch-Heisserer said.
She's been doing this for 13 years and says, “Basically, we have a different background every year. You’re welcome. I also have rabbits.”
The business also prides itself on doing other holiday-themed shoots, such as Halloween and Christmas.
Shift leader Jasmine Brown believes the frequent events are popular, saying: “There was a line all the way from the party room to the stock room. It was really amazing. There were so many animals and everything. It was amazing.”
“This year, I want to take some Christmas photos with the puppies,” Brown said.
The portraits were provided by Elaine Rohde Photography and were open to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The next portrait event will be on Mother's Day.
