Unseenlabs, a France-based company and world leader in the detection of signals from space and geolocated ocean monitoring, today announced the closing of an €85 million funding round, with the amount raised The total amount was 112.5 million euros.
Founded in 2015 by the Galic brothers, Unseenlabs is transforming ocean surveillance through its proprietary technology that detects radio frequency signals emitted by ships.
These signals enable precise geolocation of the boat from space. Unseenlabs works with dozens of clients around the world on a variety of issues, including maritime security, seabed protection, ship tracking, and combating piracy.
To date, the Unseenlabs constellation consists of 11 satellites in orbit at an altitude of 500 to 600 kilometers.
Unseenlabs aims to deploy 10 more satellites by the end of 2025 to improve the performance of its satellite fleet, including in the information age for its customers.
Next month, Unseenlabs will add two new satellites, BRO-12 and BRO-13, which will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 as part of the Transporter 10 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base (USA).
With this new funding, Unseenlabs will strengthen its innovation and Expanding our service offerings while strengthening our position as the world leader in RF signal detection.
