IndiGo Airlines has come under scrutiny in the past over its customer service. In yet another incident, a passenger traveling from Bengaluru to Bhopal was shocked to find seats without cushions on an IndiGo flight. Passenger Yavanika Raj Shah shared with X a photo of her seat missing its cushion.
Sharing the photo, Shah tagged IndiGo Airlines and wrote, “Beautiful @IndiGo6E — I hope you land safely!” 🙂 This is flight 6E 6465 from Bangalore to Bhopal. ”

The airline responded to the post, saying the seat cushions had been removed for cleaning. “Ma’am, thank you for speaking with us. Seat cushions were replaced before the flight for cleaning. Flight attendants promptly informed passengers who were assigned these seats. “This is the standard method for cleaning,” Indigo revealed.
“We are committed to providing our customers with the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. ~Team Indigo,” the airline added.
However, social media users criticized the airline for poor customer service. “Maybe the previous passenger carried them away,” the user joked. “The last two Indigo flights my seat cushion came off. This problem seems to be prevalent in his Indigo,” another user wrote.

Recently, a 42-year-old man was arrested for allegedly smoking a beedi inside the toilet of an IndiGo flight bound for Riyadh.
