Virginia Tech's Master of Science in Information Technology (VT-MIT) has been named the third best online program in the United States for three consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report.
BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR)—Virginia Tech's Master of Science in Information Technology (VT-MIT) has been named the third best online program in the United States for the third year in a row by U.S. News & World Report.
VT-MIT is a collaboration between the School of Engineering and the Pamplin College of Business.
“The VT-MIT program is at the forefront of academic excellence, offering a dynamic curriculum that transcends traditional boundaries,” said Pamplin, associate dean of graduate programs and executive director of the VT-MIT program. said Director Parviz Gandforouch.
Along with VT-MIT, U.S. News & World Report ranked other engineering and Pamplin programs highly in the magazine's 2024 Best Online Programs rankings.
Pamplin's online MBA program received a high score in the General Management concentration, ranking 13th.th and 14th domestically in the field of business analysis.
VT said the three master's degrees in engineering programs saw improved scores. They include:
- 17th Winner of Best Online Graduate Engineering Award
- 8th Awarded best online industrial engineering master's program
- 11th Awarded best online electrical engineering master's program
