today: Rain may come and go today, with a few storms possible, but in between we'll have a dry spell. As the storm develops in the South this afternoon and tonight, there is a chance of small hail, but a low chance (level 1/5) of heavy hail. This potential is primarily south of I-80. Temperatures could stay the same or drop into the 40s today due to clouds, rain and wind gusts of 16 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
toniI agree: The chance of rain tonight has also increased to 80%. Rain may begin to fall in the south, accompanied by storms. Low temperatures are expected to continue dropping into the mid to upper 30s by dawn Tuesday, resulting in a possible switch to rain and snow, especially in the north. Winds remain strong from the north-northeast, 16 to 20 mph, with maximum gusts of 30 mph.
Tuesday: The low pressure system responsible for the active weather will stay to the east, resulting in a much different forecast. First, Tuesday is expected to remain cloudy with a high chance of rain. Wintry skies will continue through the morning, with a chance of a return to rain later, but highs will drop significantly into the lower to mid 40s, with temperatures in the upper 30s to the east. No snowfall is expected. We also have sustained northerly winds of 16 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
A Storm Track 7 Yellow Warning Day was issued for Wednesday due to strong northwesterly winds of 20 to 30 mph in the area. 50 miles per hour
Wednesday: Light snow is forecast Tuesday night into Wednesday, with a chance of scattered powder snow, especially in the Northeast. Clouds will remain for most of Wednesday, with highs hovering in the 40s. Winds from the northwest could be around 50 mph.
the remaining parts week: There will be some clouds Thursday, but Friday will be sunny. However, on Thursday and Friday, winds will continue from the northwest and temperatures will drop. There could be 60 people, so we'll have to wait until the weekend.
I hope the rest of your day goes smoothly.
