TikTok has rolled out a new feature called Creator Search Insights to help creators track trending search terms on the platform.
Accessible from the app by searching for “Creator Search Insights,” this tool aims to provide creators with valuable insights to inspire and enhance their content creation process.
why do we care? TikTok is in active demand, so creating trending content can increase your visibility and reach on TikTok. This increased demand also increases the likelihood of engagement with your content.
How to use it. This tool allows you to filter searched topics by “trending” or “for you.” “Trending” shows popular searches across the app, while “for you” shows searches related to your content. Selecting either option will display a list of the most popular search terms and their popularity ratings. You can also save these search terms as shown in the screenshot below.
Creator Search Insights highlights frequently searched topics and allows creators to organize by category (tourism, sports, science, etc.) or tailor content type using the “For You” option. You can Additionally, creators can filter for “content gap” topics. Although this topic is commonly searched, there are relatively few videos covering it on TikTok.

update. TikTok has confirmed that Creator Search Insights will soon be accessible directly from Creator Tools within the Settings menu.
