Ta. “When we discovered the Lower Hudson Valley area near Tuxedo Park, we realized how beautiful the drive from Manhattan to Tuxedo Park was, and we wanted a truly special property.”
Yoga and fitness classes are held in the mansion's ballroom, which recently featured snowy views. The ability to choose seasons (not common in Malibu) was also an attraction for The Ranch team.
“When I went there two weeks ago, we got 14 inches of snow. I was attending staff training and it was snowing 2 inches an hour, so I had to go outside first thing in the morning. Instead, we did a fitness class against the backdrop of falling snow. Then, when the snow stopped, we went to build a toboggan course. Is this the case?’ I needed to find out.”
In the summer, the semi-private backyard lake hosts water activities such as stand-up paddleboarding and relay races. Year-round, guests can supplement their fitness and dietary journeys with infrared saunas, Kneipp pools, colonics, cryotherapy, and energy healing.
“Our customers are people who really care about themselves and want to reset the way they take care of themselves or basically interrupt their patterns,” Glasscock says. “It could be someone who wants to learn about better nutrition; someone who has trouble sleeping; someone who is going through a change in life, such as graduation, divorce, a new job, overcoming a material illness, or who is changing their life due to habits. When you line up your ranch guests, you can't choose from a lineup. It's more the mindset of someone who wants to improve their quality of life.”
