LUBBOCK, Texas — Texas Tech University's Department of Animal and Food Sciences has added two awards to its trophy case thanks to the wool judging team's performance at the 7220 Wool Invitational Contest and the National Western Stock Show, Texas Tech University said. The university announced.
Three members of Texas Tech University's wool judging team individually placed in the top 10 in the contest held on January 9th. Texas Tech named Abigail Cathy of Newhome, Kyndall Edwards of Sudan and Hannah Hefner of Pasadena among the students who participated in the invitational.
On January 11, the wool judging team won another Reserve Championship at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado. According to Texas Tech University, Edwards, along with Junction University's Ragan Levien and Temple University's Leah Pfeiffer, each finished in the top 10 of the event.
