The Texas Tech basketball team has had a successful debut season under coach Grant McCasland and will look to achieve even more in his second year.
The Red Raiders went 23-11 overall on the season, leading the team to an 11-7 mark in Big 12 play, finishing third in the conference standings and earning the No. 6 seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
The transfer portal will officially open on March 18th and will operate until May 1st. During this period, college basketball players can put themselves in the portal, be contacted and scouted by other schools, and find new housing if they wish.
Much of McCasland's first team was assembled through the transfer portal. There are currently no commitments from the 2024 high school recruiting class, so look for Red to build his Raiders through the portal once again.
