TAOS — Taos Lifestyle will welcome renowned musician Paula Cole to the Taos Arts Center, 133 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, Taos, on Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m.
In 1996, Paula Cole released her second self-produced album, This Fire. It was sensational and a double platinum smash. Her first single, “Where Did the Cowboys Go?”, her songwriting was loved by traditionalists, feminists, the LGBTQIA community, and the entire world.
Cole received seven Grammy nominations, becoming the first woman to be nominated for Producer of the Year without a collaborator. Her second single, the anthemic “I Don't Want to Wait,” dominated the charts for a year and was later revived once again as the popular theme song for “Dawson's Creek.”
Cole is planning a concert tour in 2024 to celebrate the release of “Lo.” The Taos show is her only stop in New Mexico on the tour. The tour will take you to Los Angeles, Phoenix, Taos, and St. Augustine.
