social media reaction
As soon as the video went viral, social media users jumped on it and reacted. While some users praised the students' decision, others criticized the procedures at the airport. Users say, “An hour's commute isn't bad. But having to go to the airport so often is a pain. Also, the schedule is pretty inflexible, so missing your flight can be a huge headache.'' “Domestic flights out of Calgary are always canceled due to weather,” another user wrote. Indian netizens also reacted to this, suggesting that this would solve the rent problem in Mumbai and Bengaluru. “This way you can avoid paying rent between Mumbai and Bengaluru. Just hop on a plane,” they joked.
“I don't blame him. 2,100 yen for a one-bedroom. Yeah, good luck with that. Would you spend $100,000 in rent over four years? That's half the price of buying your own place.” a third user wrote.
