If you thought Austria was the worst circuit for track limits, think again after Valencia's entire grid was disqualified during the Formula Winter Series.
FWS will hold its second round of the season this weekend at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, but Saturday's match got off to an unusual start with not a single driver setting a regular qualifying time.
All drivers were found to have violated the tack limit in Turns 1 and 6, leading to a strange situation where no one could take pole position.
Instead, organizers had to revert to Friday's practice session timing to decide who would start where during the race.
The Formula Winter Series is a Spanish competition in which drivers compete in Formula 4 cars in various events over the course of a weekend.
After four races, Peru's Andres Cárdenas leads the way with two wins in the opening races so far.
This is not the first time track limits have come to the forefront after hours of deliberation by stewards following the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix.
After the race, Aston Martin appealed the result, with stewards revealing they were considering 1,200 reports of track limit violations at Turn 10.
