This awards season, some of Hollywood's leading ladies are giving birth to the classiest spring trend we've ever seen: statement sleeves.
If you've been following the red carpet with a keen eye, you may have noticed that it's a little playfulness that perfectly complements a simple, flattering dress.
These fashion stars expertly paired beautiful gowns in dark tones with off-the-shoulder arm accessories, ranging from subtle and delicate to bold and full.
Barbie star and Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominee America Ferrera embraced the timeless trend at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in a custom Dior dress with subtle organza accents. . Her clever sleeves added femininity and fun to the simple style.
Emily in Paris star Lily Collins chose luxury in her interpretation of trends. Collins looked a puff-sleeved princess during her BAFTA attendance, as she wore her Tamara Ralph Fall 2023 Couture dress with a metallic floral neckline.
Proving that sleeves can compliment an ensemble without overwhelming it, the actress rocked the look with her favorite red lip.
Origin director Ava DuVernay wore a dream-fitting Louis Vuitton dress to the Governors Awards. Her beautiful black dress with a sweetheart neckline contrasted beautifully with her structured white sleeves.
Unlike her peers, DuVernay chose to further accentuate the pop of white with elbow-length black gloves, which blended easily into the look.
