Specialty Programs Group LLC (SPG), which operates specialty insurance brokerage, underwriting and consulting facilities, has named Jennifer Spindler as chief product officer for the United States.
In his new role, based in New Jersey, Mr. Spindler will be responsible for designing and building new insurance products and leading the expansion of SPG's specialty risk solutions portfolio in the United States.
The executive will report directly to Jonah Lipin, SPG's chief marketing officer, who commented:
“Jennifer’s extensive expertise will benefit our ability to remain agile and provide customized solutions as risks continue to evolve and new opportunities emerge.”
Mr. Spindler brings a wealth of experience to SPG with more than 20 years in the insurance field, primarily focused on developing and implementing new capabilities.
Prior to joining SPG, Spindler worked at Lemonade, most recently as senior director and head of underwriting. She was responsible for all non-interest initiatives and managing the strategic underwriting team to ensure profitable growth for a book of operations of over $700 million.
Prior to Lemonade, he held senior underwriting positions at PURE and Chubb.
