Observability and IT management software provider SolarWinds has hired Brian Goldfarb as its new chief marketing officer (CMO). ) In this role, Goldfarb will oversee all aspects of global marketing efforts for SolarWinds and its leading observability, database, and service management solutions.
Goldfarb is a seasoned marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience driving growth strategies for some of the world's largest and most respected technology companies. Most recently, he served as his CMO for the cybersecurity company Tenable, leading his marketing team through rapid changes in the industry and helping increase the company's revenue by nearly 50% during his tenure.
Goldfarb recently joined SolarWinds as a key member of the executive team. This comes at a time when the company is experiencing continued growth and transformation as it expands its product portfolio, strengthens its go-to-market strategy and continues to evolve its business. SolarWinds offers a wide range of AI-powered observability, service management, and database solutions. These solutions are proven to help customers accelerate their digital transformation efforts, improve productivity, and reduce costs by simplifying the management of complex hybrid and multicloud environments. . He also served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Salesforce's Platforms, where he led a team that generated over $1 billion in revenue. Earlier in his career, Mr. Goldfarb held product marketing and product management roles at Microsoft across developer tools and platforms, IT infrastructure systems, digital media, and cloud computing.
