RPSG will introduce the Indian version of The Hollywood Reporter under a licensing agreement with Penske Media Corporation.
RPSG Lifestyle Media announced the launch of the Indian edition of The Hollywood Reporter under a licensing agreement with Penske Media Corporation.
The Hollywood Reporter (THR) is a flagship entertainment media brand focused on film, television and entertainment, providing in-depth reporting, analysis and thought-provoking reviews across our weekly magazine and dynamic website. Known for his access to the American entertainment industry, he is considered a definitive voice among industry leaders and pop culture fans.
Avarna Jain, Chairman, RPSG Lifestyle Media, outlined the unique approach that THR India is taking. “Hollywood is home to the world's oldest film industry and is the origin of many local names enjoyed by filmmaking communities around the world,” she said.
The Hollywood Reporter currently has editions in the United States, Italy, and Japan. The appointment process for Editor-in-Chief and other senior positions is currently underway. Release date will be announced soon.
She further added, “The Hollywood Reporter India will be the first Indian publication to look at the entire Indian entertainment industry.'' Kudos. Hollywood may be the oldest, but India is the world's largest film-making industry, and THR India will celebrate that.”
“This partnership continues our commitment to foster global connections and celebrate India's culture, vibrancy and robust entertainment business,” said Elizabeth Labichaud, executive vice president and co-publisher of The Hollywood Reporter. “It represents a continued effort.”
Co-editor Nekesa Mumbi Moody said, “We are embarking on this journey with the THR India team and are excited to join our efforts in showcasing and expanding India's rich and fascinating entertainment industry on the international stage. “I'm excited to give editors a voice.” -The Hollywood Reporter Chief.
