Perth, Australia, April 11, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Rio Tinto continues to increase its contribution to supporting local jobs and the economy in Western Australia, with the company increasing its spending on local businesses near its operations by almost 40% year-on-year. increasing by a percentage.

Rio Tinto celebrated the contributions of its suppliers last night at its second annual Supplier Recognition Awards. This award recognizes the outstanding performance of the company's valued suppliers and their contributions to the company and the community.
