Graham Media has an exciting opportunity to fill the position of full-time Regional Director of Finance. As a key member of the Corporate Finance team, the Regional Director of Finance will support the efficient and effective operation of the Bureau and its digital media entities, monitoring key business metrics and ensuring quality products in a highly ethical environment. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to deliver. This position reports to the Vice President/CFO of Graham Media Group and will work closely with the Director of Accounting and her Director of FP&A.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of our television and digital media businesses. As a Regional Director of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and accounting functions for the broadcast and digital media businesses. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate and complies with regulatory standards and company policies. In this role, he will be responsible for at least two Graham Media Group markets.

Develops and executes financial strategies to ensure the financial health and stability of the station.

Prepare and manage annual budgets and capital plans and ensure they are aligned with company goals and strategic objectives.

Perform financial analysis and modeling to provide insight into a company's performance and identify areas for improvement.

Oversee accounting functions, including maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements.

Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley standards.

Monitors and reports the company's financial performance to the General Manager, Division Heads, and Corporate VP/CFO.

Plan and review salary increases, payroll registers, and payroll reporting.

Ensures compliance with corporate policies, state and federal laws, regulations, and FCC reporting requirements.

Liaison between the Bureau and companies and audit staff

Travel is required to the markets served by the Regional Finance Director. The trip will cover key deliverables including the three-year forecast and his five-year capital, annual budget planning and corporate meetings, strategic planning initiatives, and financial results. These meetings are with the market's VP/GM and leadership team.

Regional Finance Directors will back up their counterparts as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

At least 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

Although not required, previous experience in the television, digital or media industry is preferred.

Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.

Successful in accounting and financial planning with expertise in budgeting and planning.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated leadership and management skills.

Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of accounting and finance software, Oracle preferred (ERP, EPM, ARC, Procurement).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
