abusive language To the person who stole my electric scooter while I was picking up medication at the pharmacy. I'm a disabled vet and I'm not ready for a wheelchair yet. I use a two-wheeled electric scooter as a mobility device and my only means of transportation to maintain a normal lifestyle. I can't walk to the supermarket and back. But you can ride your bike, shop, and come back without having to recover for a few days. Life is hard enough. Just leave things where you find them.
rave For those who discovered that temporary license plates can be printed on strong paper and pasted in place near the bumper of the car. Much better than a piece of floppy paper clumsily taped to the inside of an overly tinted window.
abusive language and praise In Montlake during rush hour, the electrical system to turn on the car wasn't working, and as I sat there in frustration, holding back tears, two people yelled at me to turn on my turn signal and start the car. Ta. They put themselves in harm's way and even pushed their cars off the road while they waited for emergency services to arrive. Shame on you for your callous disregard and for your failure to understand that there was a vehicle emergency. What kind of person screams at a stranger in need? Your actions are an embarrassment to all of the wonderful people of this city. I would like to express my gratitude to the concerned driver who helped me push the car, and to the two AAA agents who rescued me and took me to a safe location! Your kindness took all the stress out of that experience, thank you so much!
rave Thank you to everyone at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon for the great care they gave my husband. Not only did you go above and beyond, you were compassionate, competent, and personally provided him with the care he needed. I myself have been fortunate to receive such wonderful support from all of you.
rave Thank you for helping me improve some people's driving. Suppose you are driving in the left lane on Ichibangai and the traffic light turns red. You stop, I stop behind you, and the light turns green. What should happen from now on is to gently press the gas pedal and continue on your way. What should not happen is turning on the left turn signal light. Because if you had indicated that you were going to turn left, I could have safely changed to the right lane, and therefore, while you were waiting for a gap to turn left, I could have safely turned towards you. Because it becomes. everyone will be happy. Now one of us is clearly not happy. You sit through the entire green light cycle and go through the yellow light just before it turns red. And I'm sitting through another light cycle now.
rave To all the homes and businesses that keep their Christmas lights on. They warm my heart.
