Revamping sales expectations through innovative strategies and motivation is the focus of the Puerto Rico Sales and Marketing Society (SME) Sales Summit: Beyond Boundaries, scheduled for February 21 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.
The event, hosted by SMEs to commemorate Sales Professionals Week, will feature national and international experts who will help attendees “gain a broader perspective that will help grow your business.”
The program begins at 9 a.m. with Victor Antonio, international speaker, author, and founder of Sales Velocity Academy. Learn how artificial intelligence impacts sales and provide practical examples of how to leverage artificial intelligence.

Following Antonio, Blank Slate founder Kristi Muniz will present “Beyond the Close: How to Prospect Successfully,” which focuses on the right processes, analytics, and techniques for qualifying prospects.
Participants can choose from two concurrent sessions in the morning. One is “Fireside Chat: Future-Proof Your Sales,” with Jesús “Ricky” López, president of LEAPfrog Consulting, and his moderator, Joant López, president of RED Integrated Communications. They discuss cross-functional collaboration, data management, the importance of professional development, and how to become more strategic and customer-focused.
The success story “Strategies for Growth in Uncertain Times” will also be presented by Merari Peña, President of Forever Crystal, and Pedro Rivera, President of 635 Group LLC.
During lunch, the top few salespeople from the past year will be recognized. The afternoon begins with a talk from Rebecca Muñoz, mindset coach and co-founder of Mexican sales school FORMA LATAM. Her session, “Special Minds in Times of Change,” provides tools to overcome obstacles and develop a success mindset.
This will be followed by concurrent sessions including “Develop your personal brand and enhance your business success” with Vanessa Marzán, Communications Strategist and CEO of Comm4Success. For bosses, check out “How to Create Your Dream Sales Team in 90 Days” by Dr. Jose “Joe” Diaz, President of Peak His Performance Research, Training, and Consulting Group.
Antonio provides techniques and best practices for closing sales in his talk, “Unstuck a Deal: What the Best Salespeople Do to Close More Deals.” conclude the session. All sessions will be conducted in Spanish.
“To promote business opportunities, the event will also include an exhibitor area and a networking happy hour where prizes from sponsors will be drawn in honor of Sales Professional Week,” Moreno added.
