Kate, Duchess of Wales chose Adelaide Cottage to give her children a normal life as she recovers from abdominal surgery, a royal expert has claimed.
Just talk to me! According to GB News, royal expert Jenny Bond has suggested that there is “no rush” for Duchess Kate to leave Adelaide Cottage following a new statement from Kensington Palace.
The Princess of Wales had a “successful” abdominal surgery scheduled for January, and the palace announced earlier this week that she was “doing well.”
A spokesperson for the Princess of Wales issued a new statement on Thursday, reiterating that the 42-year-old Duchess of Wales will not return to royal duties until at least after Easter.

She said: “I don't know if Prince William and Duchess Kate will make such a fuss about this situation.
“They chose the cottage in Adelaide because they wanted to give their children a more normal life.”
Mr Bond pointed out that the Prince and Princess of Wales own multiple properties.
He added: “Of course we still have apartments at Kensington Palace and a big house in Norfolk.
“So they're familiar with the grand lifestyle, so living in a relatively normal four-bedroom house might not be such a bad option.”

The royal commentator has hinted that he could move to the Royal Lodge at some point.
She continued to OK!: “But as the kids grow up and want friends to stay over, or William and Kate want their family to stay over, it can feel a bit cramped. Or you'll appreciate the space at Royal Lodge.
“But for now, I don't think there's any need to rush too much.”
