On Tuesday night, Pitt (12-7, 3-5 ACC) picked up another road win, defeating Georgia Tech in Atlanta, just days after defeating No. 7 Duke in Durham.
The first half was a tough one for the Panthers as they were turned over eight times. However, Pitt shot the ball effectively, shooting 44% from the field and 44% from 3-point range. Blake Hinson continued his impressive shooting streak with his logo-emblazoned 3-pointer, extending his streak to eight consecutive 3-pointers. Pitt guard Bab Carrington had a great first half, scoring 11 points on 3-of-4 shooting and grabbing four rebounds to give the Panthers a four-point lead going into the half.

The Yellow Jackets came out strong in the second frame and scored the first seven points of the first half to take the lead. Forward Baye Ndongo controlled the paint from the start, scoring eight points in the first five minutes to lead Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets started the first half 5-for-6 from the field and made their only three-point try to build a lead of as many as five points in the opening five minutes.
