Find Shadow at the Lowell Humane Society. (Courtesy of Lowell Humane Society)
One of Robert Louis Stevenson's most famous poems begins: “I have a little shadow / Who comes and goes with me / And what can take advantage of him / I can’t see.”
But Lowell Humane Society's little Shadow is a loyal and loving companion. This senior kitten (16 years old) was adopted from LHS 14 years ago and is living a wonderful life with other cats. However, her owner is no longer able to continue caring for her and is looking for a “hospice home” where she can spend her golden years with peace of mind.
Foster care and adoption arrangements are ideal as they give him a chance to settle down. ” Although he has some special needs: kidney and thyroid, his personality remains energetic and energetic even when he is in a new environment. Shadow needs a little sunshine – can you shine for him?
