McLabkins: This beautiful girl can't wait to go on her next adventure with her new family. She gets along well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. She loves going for walks and she likes being with people.
jewelry: This cute girl is looking for her forever home. The jewelry is almost a year old. She is cat friendly and loves treats. Gemstone is doing well in her foster home, but she wants a home of her own.
K-36: This ridiculously adorable cross-eyed boy is ready for his forever family. He gets along well with other cats and lives in a house with a dog. He loves snacks and can't wait to curl up on the couch and take a nap.

Burke County Animal Services It is located at 425 Kirksey Drive in Morganton. Adoption fees are $20 for cats and $40 for dogs and include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, and other precautions. Veterans can adopt a pet for free with military ID.
Animal Services is currently in need of food donations for the Community Pet Food Bank, which helps pets of people in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.
