Swerve: Don't be fooled by this photo of a handsome orange boy. He is a sweet boy who enjoys scratching his head. He gets along well with other cats.
19-3: This adorable cross-eyed girl is ready for her forever home. Although she is a little shy, she loves being petted. She gets along well with other cats and even with dogs.
Venicio: This handsome pup is about 10 weeks old and ready to find his forever family. He gets along well with other dogs and people of all ages. Venicio loves toys and cuddling.
Eli: Eli is excited to start new adventures with you! He loves toys, treats, and people of all ages. Eli doesn't think cats are cool and he doesn't want a cat in his house.

animal services is currently in need of food donations to the Community Pet Food Bank, which helps pets of people in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.
