CHICAGO (CBS) — This week's PAWS Chicago Pet is a special 5-year-old snow white cat named Ophelia.
Ophelia came to PAWS Chicago with what is called a tail-pulling injury. The cause of her injuries is unknown. Maybe it was a traffic accident or her tail got caught in something. However, her injuries left her tail paralyzed and incontinent.
She is a loving and kind girl, but she needs a little extra care. She wears a diaper that needs to be checked every 3-4 hours, but she will appreciate hours of nuzzling and purring. She is one of the most loving cats that the PAWS Her team has cared for over the years, so you can meet her at the PAWS Her Chicago Adoption Center and give her the home she deserves.
“Put Me In Coach” recruitment event
Through the end of this month, PAWS Chicago is offering 50 percent off adoption fees for select pets. This is a “Put Me In Coach” adoption event for some benchwarmers at PAWS.
Stop by the PAWS Lincoln Park Adoption Center today and meet these vulnerable children. There's never been a better time to expand our family to four with a girlfriend. For more information, visit pawschicago.org.
