CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Atrium Health School and Charlotte-Mecklenburg School announced they are partnering to launch a new program aimed at supporting students exploring a future in the healthcare industry.
The university plans to create an early college program to help students prepare for high-paying careers in the medical field, the announcement said.

The project will also explore solutions to address the region's education and health workforce needs. Atrium and CMS said the project supports efforts to jointly develop high school curriculum in Charlotte.
They said Charlotte was one of 10 cities across the country selected to participate in a pilot cohort aimed at “providing clear pathways to students' careers and developing the next generation of workforce.” It's called Tsuda.
The project received investment from Bloomberg Philanthropies.
