Prattville-Autauga Human Shelter
Joey is PAHS' Featured Pet of the Week for March 17th. May the good fortune of the Irishman be with you today.
Joey is a 6-month-old male Lab/Bulldog mix who needs to be spayed and neutered before he can be adopted. He was taken in as his elderly owner was no longer able to care for him. Joey is white with large brown spots. He's a good looking guy! He weighs 38 pounds and will grow into a large adult dog, at least 60 pounds. Joey is friendly and kind. However, he also has a lot of energy, so we recommend that he not live in homes with small children. Joeys get along well with other dogs. And he loves dog playmates. He is both lead and house trained. Joey is a big, energetic boy who is ready to have a home and family of his own.
The dog/puppy adoption fee is $100. Adoption fee for cats/kittens is $50. Our adoption fee includes a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as required by age and law), and a free examination by a veterinarian at a participating business. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption. Alternatively, a spay/neuter certificate will be issued to help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery. Unless otherwise indicated under “Special Needs”, our dogs have tested negative for heartworms.
