Ritesh Agarwal, OYO CEO and judge on the reality show Shark Tank India, wrote to X about what he thinks the show does “really well”. In his post, he also recalls his early days as an entrepreneur when he had no idea how to “read or interpret a balance sheet.”
“Among all the joys of Shark Tank, what really makes this show great is that it touches on some of the most basic concepts of business and entrepreneurship in a simple way. When I started OYO, “I had no idea how to read or interpret a balance sheet. I'm glad to see Shark Tank India bringing these conversations mainstream,” Agarwal wrote. He also shared a video with the post explaining what “contribution margin” is in business.
