ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Orchard Park businesses are preparing for another home playoff game this Saturday and Sunday as a “busy business bonus” for their facilities.
Brendan Bighan, co-owner of The Bird House Restaurant, said: “Every game, home or away, draws a big crowd, but having a playoff bonus game like this means everyone around the stadium “It's a huge boon for bars and restaurants.”
“This is a really fun day, especially in the playoffs.” [to be around]” continued Vigane.
There is never a guarantee that the Bills will make the playoffs every year, let alone host two playoff games in a row. Bighan said every time the Bills make the playoffs, that increased energy and enthusiasm permeates through local businesses.
Some bars and restaurants have seen a surge in customers, with Bills front office and team members stopping by for snacks.
“They're not only our team, they're members of our community. We're so happy to have them here,” Bigaan said. “Josh [Allen]My mom and dad have been here a lot before games and it's about One Buffalo, let's just say that. ”
Not only are fans heading to Orchard Park for some delicious food, but they're also picking up some gear. The Bills' recent success and six-game undefeated streak has motivated more fans to wear fresh Charge Buffalo merchandise.
“It definitely helped us get more sweatshirts,” Scott Sprigg said. “I wore four layers last week, but I plan to take them off tomorrow as well.''
On Saturday, some more practical items disappeared from stores.
“I bought a new little football for my little flag football quarterback,” Sprigg said while playing catch with his son Dylan outside the Bills store.
“There's more apparel, there's more everything you know. I just went into town to get a burger and the place was packed,” Bills fan Jay Casper said. “A lot of restaurants do a lot of business here.”
Still, as some fans no doubt know, it can't replace all of the game day threads.
“However, it's the same shirt for every victory. This shirt has never been washed, so maybe it will work,” Maria Casper said.
