ALPENA — Northland Regional Federal Credit Union recently announced the promotion of Eileen Budnick to vice president of finance.
In this role, Budnick is responsible for developing and implementing the credit union's financial strategic plan by organizing, directing and managing the organization's financial activities. She brings her wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise to her role. Before she joined her team at Northland in September 2021, Budnick spent her career in the banking industry in a variety of roles including accounting staff, deputy administrator, and administrator. She has also held senior positions including Director Vice President, Financial Reporting and Accounting and Director Vice President, SOX/FDICIA.
Budnick earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Lake Superior State University and recently earned his Certified ACH Professional designation.
She is an avid volunteer and spends her time volunteering at many events in the Northland region. She is also the current vice president and past president of the local Zonta Club, an organization dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of women. She also served as past president of the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce and treasurer of the Northern Michigan First Commonwealth Heritage Foundation.
