The Garcia Subaru Pet Photo Corner focuses on the pets of New Mexico Living viewers. The first pet to appear is Ripley, a 6-year-old Labrador mix. She was rescued by Leah Thomas as a stray puppy on the Navajo Reservation. Leah said that in addition to the beach, Ripley likes to ride in cars, run and snuggle on the couch.
The next pet to appear is Larry. The 8-year-old cat was rescued by Harry Lamar from Cat Pier in Albuquerque. When Harry adopted him, he weighed a hefty 24 pounds. Since then, he has been on a diet and has lost over 6 pounds.
