Animal Friends Alliance will receive a $40,000 grant investment from the national nonprofit Petco Love to support animal rescue efforts in northern Colorado.
Animal Friends Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive companion animal resources, services, and education to the community to prevent pet homelessness and promote the human-animal bond. Animal Friends Alliance services include an adoption-guaranteed shelter for dogs and cats with limited admissions, subsidized spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, grooming salons, and kibble pantries for pet parents in need. Since its founding in 2006, Animal Friends Alliance has found homes for more than 33,000 dogs and cats and performed more than 77,000 spays and neuters at its clinics.
