NASA continues to amaze us with its stunning photography of space. Recently, the space agency's Hubble Telescope captured a “snowman” located 6,000 light-years from Earth. Yes, that's right. According to NASA, the image shows an emission nebula “charged by the energy of nearby massive stars and glowing with its own light.”
NASA explained the image in the caption of the post. They write, “Three bright blue-white stars in the upper left mark the beginning of a bright, dusty band of reddish-brown, orange, and white glowing gas and dust, the top of which is scarfed and topped. A hat that loosely resembles a snowman. The rest of the image is dark and full of bright stars, many of which have diffraction spikes. ” (Also read: Can you see a penguin and an egg-shaped galaxy in this NASA photo?)
