ALPENA — MyMichigan Health, owner of Midland-based Alpena Hospital, has entered into a deal to acquire Ascension Michigan's Saginaw, Tawas and Standish medical facilities and make them part of MyMichigan's system. Signed with Ascension Michigan.

Dr. Lydia Watson, president and CEO of MyMichigan Health, said Ascension St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw is home to the region's only comprehensive stroke center, which will become MyMichigan. He said it will be a new centerpiece for Health's patients.
The transaction is expected to close this summer, following completion of third-party and other processes.
