Minot State University student Marisa Giese will graduate from the Education and Employment Advancement Program (ASTEP) in May with a degree in technical information, setting the stage for her future.
She was first drawn to the hardware, the look and feel of the device. She likes working with all kinds of technology, but she likes cell phones the most. These are the devices she is most familiar with. She hopes that she will be able to share her knowledge and passion about phones.
One of her first introductions to technology was helping her mother and other family members when they had problems with their devices at home. She is usually their go-to person when they need to solve a problem. She had that innate talent, so she thought it was perfect for her.
After I graduate from ASTEP in May, I would like to get my degree and get a job at a telemarketing company.
“Technology is in a different world now and has so much more capability.” She said this made her even more interested in helping others use their devices.
I'm also interested in different types of technology, especially cameras. She really enjoys taking photos and sharing them with others, and wants to know more about how photography works and specs to help other photographers find the right equipment for the job. I am.
In my final semester at MSU, I am taking a cell phone photography course. After taking this class, I really liked photography, and I want to continue photography as a hobby even after graduation.
Dancing is also one of her hobbies. Rather than following videos of her dance routines, she likes to play songs to suit her mood and come up with her own moves so the music flows. She loves the freedom that dance gives her, giving her the opportunity to move her body without restrictions or conventions.
Her favorite genres are pop and country, but she also listens to musicians such as Ed Sheeran, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Nickelback. Last year, she even had a chance to see a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert with her sister in Fargo.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family, especially his nephews. To celebrate her college graduation, Giese and her family are planning a big party, and barbecue is the likely food option.
For the past three years, Giese has worked part-time in Menard's hardware department. She enjoys working there with freight and straightening shelves to make them look tidy and full. But what makes her job worthwhile for her is her colleagues.
Because she has great relationships with her team members, she plans to remain at Menards as long as possible before deciding to change fields.
For the time being, Giese plans to stay in the Minot area, but isn't opposed to moving out of state if a job opportunity arises.
With graduation not far away, Giese is looking forward to moving on to the next chapter of his life and finding out where it will lead him.
