QUINCY – Dr. Tim Eades, Vice President of Enrollment Management, announced the hiring of Virginia DePina as Director of Marketing and Communications at Eastern Nazarene University. DePina has over 15 years of experience in various marketing and media roles.
DePina, who previously served as Marketing Director at Massasoit Community College, has a background in digital marketing and media relations at Bunker Hill Community College and as an associate producer for the WGBH news program, Basic Black. Recently, she played a key role on the planning team for Brockton Media Partnership's campaign “Brockton: A Better Beginning” and lent her voice as the video's narrator. DePina's commitment to her community and service is evident through her role on the Board of Directors of Fuller Her Craft Her Museum and Brockton Area Her Multi-Service Inc. (BAMSI). She also holds the position of vice president of the Bay State Chapter of the National Council on Black Affairs (NCBAA), and the community supports the success of Black students, faculty, and staff at the College. DePina's dedication extends beyond her professional affiliations, as she previously served on the Program Advisory Board for the Women's Leadership Certification Program at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Management.

She brings her wealth of experience and passion to make a lasting positive impact on the College.
Virginia DePina lives in Brockton, Massachusetts with her husband, daughter, son, and beagle and is an active member of Grace Church in Avon. She is dedicated to her church family and serves in children's ministry, worship team, and women's ministry. De Pina's educational background includes: She received an Associate's degree in Arts from Massasoit Community College, Visual Arts from Emerson College, and a Bachelor's degree from Lasell College. I have a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications.
With enthusiasm and dedication, Virginia DePina looks forward to contributing her expertise and energy to Eastern Nazarene University's vibrant community starting in February.
