Earlier this month, more than 1,200 students attended the recent biannual Business Career Fair held by the UA Sam M. Walton College of Business.
This spring event attracted 151 companies from across the United States, and students interacted with a wide range of employers, from industry giants like Walmart, General Mills, and PepsiCo to dynamic startups. Participating employers understood students' unique career aspirations and offered a wide range of roles, from full-time and part-time to co-op and internship positions.
One of the most notable benefits for students attending the fair is that it streamlines the interview and hiring process. Many companies schedule on-campus interviews the day after the fair, giving students a unique opportunity to make a good impression and get a job offer quickly.
Walton College is leading the way to the fair by offering resume reviews by industry experts, workshops where students can practice pitching with recruiters, a pre-career fair party, and easy access to professional attire. We set our students up for success.
