The most invited are cute Party of the Year: Midland Humane Society Annual Gala.
This gathering of animal lovers who raise money for the thousands of animals that come to MHS each year is an event not to be missed.
Join us on Friday, May 10th at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs. Flawless A night to celebrate the animals that enrich our lives and fill our hearts.
The evening begins with social hour at 5 p.m., where guests can browse hundreds of silent auction items, purchase wine and coveted golden tickets, and interact with several ambassador animals. The social hour will be followed by a delicious buffet dinner, an engaging program, heartfelt videos, and a fun live auction.
Tickets are available now on the Midlands Humane Society website at midlandshumanesociety.org/events. Individual tickets are $65, but you can also purchase a table for 10 for $650.

We are currently seeking sponsors for this event. There are six levels of sponsorship, ranging from $350 to $10,000, with varying benefits and recognition within and beyond the event. Sponsoring the MHS Gala is a great way to show others that you support the homeless animals in our community waiting to find a happy home.
If you would like to support your gala or future event by donating a new item to our silent auction, we are currently accepting items in the following categories: Dining & Entertainment, His/Her, Home & Garden, Outings & Experiences, and Pets. All donations are tax deductible and funds raised will be donated to his MHS animals. Items can be dropped off or mailed to his MHS at 1020 Railroad Ave., Council Bluffs, IA 51503 during business hours.

Month is a 1.5-year-old neutered male Border Collie/Springer Spaniel mix with a lively personality and lots of energy. He will benefit from an active family that can keep him busy and focused on continued obedience training.

Jonathan One and a half year old Lab/Poodle mix is a very lucky guy who is ready to be your BFF. He is full of energy and would be a great addition to an active home ready to be taken on any adventure. He is a very sweet and loving dog and he would make a great addition to any family looking to continue basic obedience training.

emma She's a 4 1/2 year old neutered female Boball mix who is very sweet and loves attention, which she shows by wagging her little knobby tail so fast her whole body shakes. She hopes to find a home with huge breed experience to continue her life's journey. Although she gets along well with other dogs, she is still a little shy so she needs to develop her confidence when she is around dogs.

sheldon He is an 8-year-old neutered male Shepherd mix who will make a very loyal companion. They are a little shy when meeting new people and want things that are routine and familiar. You will need the added reassurance that you will never be moved again. It just means extra hugs and bonding time for the family.
