MetroHealth System and Cleveland State University have forged a partnership to expand access to health care services for university students, faculty and staff.
Under the agreement, MetroHealth will operate the CSU clinic within the university's School of Health Sciences, 2112 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, 44115. At the clinic, MetroHealth caregivers treat minor illnesses and injuries that do not require an emergency room visit. The team will also provide COVID-19 testing, vaccinations, regular health checkups, pregnancy tests, and more. The clinic opened on Monday, January 29th.

MetroHealth's collaboration with Cleveland State University is just one of many strategic partnerships designed to expand access to care in Cuyahoga County.
For example, the health system's award-winning School Health Program provides clinical services to more than 4,800 students in more than 25 schools in Cuyahoga County. The program is affiliated with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District, Positive Education Program, St. Martin de Porres, and Urban Community Schools.
MetroHealth will also soon open a new health center at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank's Community Resource Center in Cleveland's Collinwood neighborhood. The clinic will provide primary care services, immunizations, dental services, WIC and more.
