Amrit Bhide, who previously led Mercedes-Benz AG as Customer Experience Manager, has been promoted to General Manager, Marketing and Customer Experience at Mercedes-Benz India.
November 28, 2023 Luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz today announced organizational changes to its sales and marketing department. The company has appointed Amrit Baid as Head of Marketing and Customer Journeys, effective February 1, 2024. Thereafter, Mr. Baid joined his team for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Regional Overseas Marketing in Kuala Lumpur. Amrit Vaid replaces Pradeep Srinivas, who has moved to the Mercedes-Benz AG headquarters to take on the global role of Digital Solutions and Data Analytics Manager for the Mercedes-Benz Digital division.
Baid started her career at Mercedes-Benz India as Manager of Marketing Communications and was promoted to Senior Marketing Manager. His responsibilities include developing local marketing strategies in line with global marketing strategies, campaign development, and media planning across mainstream and digital media.
He was also responsible for performance-based campaign management, from planning, execution, and optimization strategies. He considered digital technology transformation, deployment, e-commerce platform management, social community management, and online reputation management.
