(WHNT) — Pets across the Tennessee Valley are looking for loving homes to take home. Each week, News 19 features a few of these pets in hopes of catching the eye of their future owners. This week we feature Windy and Frankie.
Windy, from the Humane Society of Greater Huntsville, is a medium-sized scruffy terrier mix. She is described as a friendly and fun girl who is happy to meet anyone.
Windy knows how to sit, is currently working on leash manners, and loves playing with toys, especially tennis balls. The shelter says the dog has high energy and enjoys the garden and having an active person to walk with.
They may live with other dogs with similar energy levels and may be able to get along well with children. GHHS said she thinks it would be best for her to be in a dog-only home as she is showing a little too much interest in cats.

Decatur Animal Services is also recruiting pets for adoption this week. Meet Frankie!
She is a female pug mix who is about 2 years old. Frankie is very kind, energetic, and fun to be around.
She has already been spayed and has had her rabies vaccination. Frankie is ready to find her fur-loving family who will love and care for her.
Her adoption fee is $110. If you are interested in Frankie, please visit Decatur or contact DAS at (256) 341-4790.
