JACKSON, MI – Matrix and Seymour are just two of the many pets finding forever homes at Cascade Humane Society.
Are you looking for a loyal companion who is not only handsome but full of potential? Matrix is your man.
At just one year old, Matrix is full of energy and eager to learn. He's already mastered “sit” and with a treat in hand, you never know what other tricks he'll learn.
Matrix is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of dogs that match her energy level. He is a bundle of joy in his CHS playground, running around as fast as he can and exploring every nook and cranny. Matrix walks fine on a leash, but he really shines when used on adventures.
Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative, Matrix is ready for her forever home. You may hear staff calling him “Walter” because he was at CHS when Matrix was a puppy. This was his name when he was there before.
Seymour is a handsome cat. He has stunning green eyes and fairly light gray and white fur. His first instinct when he meets a new friend is to roll over and take in all the pets he can. He doesn't mind being stroked on his soft white belly.
Seymour may even rub his face in your hand if you aren't paying enough attention. Although he is interested in toys, he has no match for human affection.
Seymour has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
If you think Matrix or Seymour could be your next perfect furry family member, please stop by for a visit. Cascades Humane Society, 1515 Carmen Drive, is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
All dogs and cats at Cascade Humane Society are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite-protected before adoption. Pet owners also receive free health exams from 24 local veterinarians.
Dog owners who wish to adopt another dog must meet with their own dog and the dog they choose to adopt.
CHS has added services to its spay/neuter assistance program. This service is available at the time of a scheduled spay or neuter and includes vaccines, heartworm testing for dogs, FIV and FeLV testing for cats, and dental procedures.
CHS also has a pet food pantry to assist families facing financial hardship. CHS accepts donations of cat or dog food as long as it is in its original packaging. Donors can drop off food by the pole barn at the back of the facility. The pet food pantry is open the first Saturday of each month from noon to 2 p.m.
