RONCEVELT, W.Va. (WVNS) – The name Masters Mech & Tech is well known to the Roncevelte community.
This auto shop is owned by Greg Masters. The mechanic, his son Levi Masters, and the rest of the Masters family have served many loyal customers in Greenbrier County for decades.
Greg told 59News that when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer late last year, he knew it was time to take over the reins.
“Levi has worked with me for a long time. I'm ready to go, and he's ready to come,” Greg said.
As some people say, Levi is a hands-on learner. He also ran his own towing business while helping his father with his business for many years.
Greg and Levi work together to provide the residents of Ronceveld with everything they need for their cars.
When asked if he was nervous or anxious about the transition, Levi said he had the best teachers he could have asked for. his father.
“I'm not too nervous, I've been doing this pretty much my whole life. I have my own business, so it's not a big deal,” Levi said.
The father and son duo want to ensure that the same care and passion remains in the store, no matter who carries the nickname “Boss.”
