With temperatures in the low 70s and plenty of sunshine, we are enjoying a beautiful afternoon of weather across the state. Even into the evening, you will remain dry and comfortable. Temperatures will drop into the mid 60s by late tonight. If you're heading to the Oss game, it's sure to be a great night for baseball!
Tonight, the clouds gradually increased and the temperature became comfortable. In most areas, low temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 50s. Skies will be mostly cloudy by early Wednesday morning.
Rain is forecast to return on Wednesday. It's a good idea to have an umbrella handy, as you'll need one from mid-morning until late and throughout the afternoon. It doesn't wash out completely during the day, but it does seem damp at times. High temperatures on Wednesday will be cool with a southeasterly wind, cloudy skies and occasional rain.
We can't rule out the possibility of some lingering showers on Thursday, but overall it looks wetter than Wednesday. Clouds will be variable and the afternoon will be warm. High temperatures should rise into the low to mid 70s. The best chance of rain on Thursday will be across northeastern Maryland.
A cold front will approach the region on Friday. This will bring some showers into Friday afternoon into Friday night. High temperatures on Friday will top out in the 60s and skies will remain mostly cloudy to cloudy. Friday night's showers should dissipate by early Saturday morning.
The weekend tends to be drier and more pleasant with a mix of sunshine and clouds. Saturday will see northwesterly winds between 16 and 15 mph, with partly to mostly clear skies. Sunday will be cloudy, but the weather will remain dry with highs in the low 60s.
The pleasantly cool weather will continue through much of next week, with highs mostly in the 60s.
